Terms of Service

These terms apply to this website and its documentation. The kipui package itself is licensed separately and more permissively — see the license page. Where the two disagree about your rights to the code, the MIT license wins.

By using the site you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, the remedy is not to use the site; the package on npm remains available to you under its own license either way.

You agree not to:

• Attempt to disrupt, overload or gain unauthorised access to the site or the infrastructure behind it.
• Scrape the site in a way that degrades it for other readers. Reading the pages, and copying the code samples on them, is expressly fine.
• Present the site or its content as your own product, or use the Kipui name or logo in a way that suggests we endorse or built something we did not.
• Use the site for anything unlawful, or in breach of the rights of anyone else.

Code samples, component source and configuration shown on these pages are part of the library and are covered by the MIT license — copy them into your project without asking. The surrounding prose, the branding and the page designs are ours, and are not part of that grant.

Third-party names mentioned in the documentation — React, Tailwind CSS, Next.js and others — belong to their respective owners and are used only to describe what this library works with.

The site is provided as it is, when it is. We may change, move or remove any page, component or API at any time, and no part of the documentation is a promise that a feature will continue to exist. Breaking changes to the package are communicated through semantic versioning and the changelog, which is the guarantee that actually binds us.

The site and the library are provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the documentation is accurate or complete, or that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages, or for any loss of profits, data or goodwill, arising out of your use of this site or the library — whether the claim is in contract, tort or otherwise, and even if we were told such damage was possible.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

What you build with these components is your responsibility: its accessibility in the context you ship it, its handling of your users’ data, and its compliance with the law where you operate. The library gives you accessible primitives; it cannot make an inaccessible composition of them accessible.

These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh, and the courts of Bangladesh have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory law of the country where you live.

Updated terms take effect when published here, with a new date at the top of the page. Continuing to use the site after that is acceptance of the new version.
